1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResumeForge ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a notice on the site.

2. Description of Services

ResumeForge is an AI-powered resume and cover letter generation platform. You provide your experience and a job description; our system produces a tailored, ATS-optimized document for download. The Service includes:

  • AI resume and cover letter generation
  • Access to 30+ professionally designed templates
  • PDF and text-format downloads
  • Resume history and storage for registered accounts

We do not guarantee job interviews, callbacks, employment offers, or career outcomes of any kind. The Service is an informational and productivity tool only.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ResumeForge. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

4. Payments & Refunds

Certain features of the Service require payment. All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change with advance notice. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Refund policy: We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with your generated resume. To request a refund, contact us at support@resumeforge.co with your order details. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No prorated refunds are issued for mid-cycle cancellations.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Submit false or fabricated work history, credentials, or qualifications in your resume
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
  • Use automated tools to access or interact with the Service without our written permission

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines at our sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of the information you provide (work history, education, skills, etc.). By submitting content to the Service, you grant ResumeForge a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Our content: The ResumeForge name, logo, website design, templates, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of ResumeForge and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without prior written consent.

Generated documents: Once you download a resume or cover letter generated by the Service, you own that document and may use it freely for personal career purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated documents before submitting them to employers.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUMEFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to ResumeForge in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 7 (Disclaimer), 8 (Limitation of Liability), and 10 (Governing Law) survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
