π Getting Started
How to build your first resumePopular
Pick a template, answer a few questions about your background and the job you're targeting, choose a tone, then preview your resume and cover letter before paying. Most people finish in a few minutes.Uploading an existing resume
On the first step, you can drop in an existing resume (PDF) instead of typing everything from scratch β it pre-fills your experience and background so you only need to adjust what's different for this job.Adding a photo to your resumeNew
You can upload a headshot and choose which side of the header it appears on. Not every template shows a photo β if you'd rather not include one, you can remove it before the final preview.Do I need to create an account?
No β there's no password to set up front. You just fill out the form, preview your resume, and pay when you're ready to download. If you subscribe to an unlimited plan, that's recognized on your browser automatically the next time you visit, and you can log in with just your email (a 6-digit code, no password) to pick it up on a different device.
π¨ Templates & Design
Which of the 30 templates should I pick?Popular
Templates range from clean single-column layouts (safest for strict ATS scanning) to two-column designs with a colored sidebar. If you're applying to large companies with automated screening, a simpler layout is usually the safer bet.Switching templates after generating
Yes β you can browse all 30 templates and switch at any point before you pay. Your generated content carries over automatically into the new layout. Can I move my photo to the other side?
Yes β if your template supports a photo, you can drag it to either side of the header, or remove it entirely, right from the preview step.
βοΈ Editing & Tailoring
Editing your resume after it's generatedNew
Before you pay, you can edit any section directly in the preview β add or remove sections, rewrite text, and adjust text alignment. Changes are reflected immediately in the preview. How "Tailor this for another job" worksPopular
After you finish a resume, this reuses your background, experience, achievements, and tone β you just enter the new job details and pick a template. It still requires payment unless you're on an unlimited plan.Editing your cover letter
Your cover letter is generated alongside your resume and can be edited as plain text from its own tab in the preview.
β¬οΈ Downloads & Email
Download PDF vs. Email me a copyPopular
"Download PDF" saves a real, selectable-text PDF straight to your device via your browser's print dialog. "Email me a copy" sends both your resume and cover letter as PDF attachments to an email address you enter β handy if you want them somewhere other than the device you're using right now.Is the downloaded PDF real text, or an image?
Real, selectable text β not a picture of your resume. That matters because most companies scan resumes with ATS software, which can't read text trapped inside an image.Copying your resume text directly
"Copy resume text" copies the plain text of your resume (without colors or layout) β useful for pasting into an online application field. Copying the cover letter works the same way from its own tab.
π³ Pricing & Plans
$2 one-time vs. unlimited plansPopular
$2 gets you one resume and cover letter, no strings attached. $5/month or $20/year gets unlimited resumes and cover letters β worth it if you're applying to more than a couple of jobs. How is my unlimited plan recognized?New
An unlimited plan is remembered automatically on the browser/device you subscribed with. On a new device or after clearing your browser data, go to the login page, enter the email you subscribed with, and we'll send you a 6-digit code β no password to remember.Where can I see resumes I've generated before?New
Unlimited subscribers get every resume and cover letter saved automatically to My Resumes. From there you can reopen and edit any of them, download a fresh PDF, or email a copy β on any device, once you're logged in. The $2 one-time plan doesn't include saved history. How do I cancel my subscription?
Email us and we'll cancel it for you β there's no self-serve billing page yet.
π§ Troubleshooting
My resume didn't generate
Go back and try generating the preview again β if it keeps failing, contact us with what you entered and we'll take a look.Payment failed or didn't go through
Payments are processed by Stripe β if a charge failed, nothing was generated or emailed, and you weren't billed. Try again, or reach out if it keeps happening.Download or email didn't workPopular
Try again from the confirmation page after payment. If "Email me a copy" says it sent but nothing arrives, check your spam folder first β then contact us if it's genuinely missing.
